Welcome to the War Memories International Symposium 2018 website, designed to give you all the necessary information about the conference. The content and news section of the website will be updated regularly following the evolution of the project.

The third War Memories International Symposium, hosted by the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Research and the Royal Military College of Canada, will take place from June 12 - 13, 2018 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Kingston, Ontario. This symposium will encourage discussions surrounding the symbols used to represent the physical and moral injuries endured by individuals as a result of war. The way different conflicts define, tailor, and possibly even distort military culture through societies and through the ages will also be discussed.
